Welcome to Music City

Ok so as most of you know I had a blog before...but I only made one entry. This time I vow to do better. Guess before everyone I loved was either living with me or I saw them almost everyday. But now you are all far away so I must write. Tell the stories and my crazy life....so I've been here 48 hours. I love it so far. There's just so much here, especially for people my age. You should all come visit! I started interning yesterday, which has been a blast. Love my bosses. They told me I talked more on the first day than any other intern they've ever had...haha oops. You all know me. I think I am going to learn a ton and get a bunch of contacts so we will see where the Lord takes that. Friday night Rush of Fools plays in Clarksville, TN and we're going to the show and gonna help with it so as you all know I'm pretty stoked. Love concerts.

I saw Rachel Gerdin (in town with her dad who's here on business) and Natalie Nelson today for coffee. So good to see them...hung out at Fido on 21st. It's seriously like the coffee shop everyone in Nashville goes to, it's like hip young...lots of musicians. Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman were just there a few days ago. Crazy I know. Carrie Underwood lives 10 min from where I work, drove by her neighborhood-it's huge.

The Eddy's are great. Love them. Probably the most gracious people I've ever known in my life and they love having me. Linda is always making me food and just wants to know how I'm doing. She tells Steven (he's 18) that he has a new sister and he needs to take me in a ride in his new car. And she makes him tell me about his day everyday...haha it's funny seeing as how he doesn't really talk that much. The Lord has totally blessed me and made it very clear that this is where He wants me. I'm trusting Him for the next steps, I'm just along for the ride.

On that note I got offered another job yesterday at a store, New York and Company, in the mall...retail not my fav but hey it's a job. Also the Y is hiring for lifeguards and it's closer to the house plus I get a free Y membership...not really a fan of being a lifeguard again-feel kinda lame at this stage in the game but I'm supposed to talk to the Aquatics Director tomorrow and if it offers the same pay and hours I might take it, just because I love working out and would like to be able to keep up my routine and getting a free membership would be awesome plus it would save on gas and I could probably move up quickly due to all my experience at a Y in Florida. We will see, the Lord's got that too. Not stressed.

Anyways...all that to say it's been great! I am currently painting my toe nails, on skype, and watching CSI in my room ( Ellen, Jeran, and Julie I know you're not surprised ;)

Oh and check out Bethany Dillon's new album...it's GOOD. There is a song I've been playing over and over because it pretty much sums up my heart right now. It talks about pride-if you haven't noticed from my overload of embarrassing stories the Lord is constantly giving me moments of humility, i.e. braces, bar in my mouth, introducing myself as Peter, usual trips or other clumsy things, not to mention I have a built in one...cankles. I'll post the lyrics when I can find them but it's called "Deliver Me" it's good....she sang it in chapel if you were there. Ok love you all and talk soon!
